	Tod S. Mercer has been helping people with their legal needs since 1990. He first started practicing law in Oklahoma City where he worked in the areas of banking and real estate law. In the early 1990’s Mr. Mercer began representing persons injured by the negligence of others in claims against insurance companies. Several years of dealing with insurance companies on bodily injury claims and trying personal injury lawsuits helped lay the groundwork for his present practice of representing policyholders against their own insurance company when they are treated unfairly or in bad faith.   In 2001 Mr. Mercer moved his law practice from Oklahoma City to McAlester, Oklahoma. He became one of the only lawyers in Southeast Oklahoma that limits his practice to insurance related cases. By limiting the type cases the firm handles, the firm can provide the highest quality legal representation available.   The firm’s practice is dedicated to representing persons that have been treated unfairly by their own insurance company.
